Kindness for Kaysen foundation was founded in honor of Kaysen Frank Sellers who was stillborn on May 20, 2015 at 37 weeks. The day Kaysen went to Heaven our grief journey began. In November 2019 and June 2020 we lost babies around 6 weeks gestation and a different kind of grief joined the journey. It is our mission to honor their lives by creating a legacy of hope and kindness by serving the child loss community and care for hurting hearts with love and empathy.
We provide bereavement care packages to Hillcrest’s Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center to be given in the hospital room during the first moments as parents begin to navigate life without their child, we provide additional bereavement supplies for the SILAS Program, and we provide the hospital with sibling care packages that will bring comfort and quiet activity for siblings while at the hospital. We give care packages to those who are referred to us for comfort after child loss.
We invite you to follow our facebook page where we share resources, stories, support group information, and remembrance events. This facebook page is where you can see the Kindness for Kaysen foundation mission in action.
We create a remembrance album on our facebook page to honor the lives of children who remain forever in our hearts. We tell their stories and say their names; they will never be forgotten because love doesn’t end with death.
